Tips on Visiting Griffith Park
Christmas: Make sure you visit the park to see the Holiday light Festival. It runs each night in December from 5 - 10 pm. For the first couple of weeks the light display is vehicle free. Make sure that you dress warmly though.
If you like to hike, this is the place to do it in Los Angeles. Enjoy the 53 mile network of hiking trails, fire roads and paths. Just remember the trails close at dusk for safety and no fires or smoking is allowed for obvious reasons.
