Located right on Kuta Beach, the Hard Rock Bali Hotel is in the heart of all things Kutai. You can not only enjoy all that Kuta has to offer, but also enjoy the 40 year historic rock and roll items on display throughout the property.
The Hard Rock Hotel Bali has everything you could ask for in a Hard Rock type hotel. You will find the Rock Spa, the beautiful freeform swimming pool, the Lil Rock Kids Clubs, the Gym, Rock Climbing and Shopping. You can even rent a cabana by the pool for about $15 a day.
For Bali standards the Hard Rock Cafe and the drinks at the pool can be quite expensive.
According to some of the Tripadvisor reviews, the staff at the pool are great and really add to the experience of hanging out by the pool. However, the pool is quite far from the beach so it may be best to plan separate pool and beach days.
You can also rent a cabana by the pool to enjoy the day with the option of lying in the sun, or enjoying the shaded area and the service of the cabana.
This hotel ranked #13 and 4 stars for hotels in Kuta on Tripadvisor, with over 550 reviews.

The hotel is designed to focus on the "Hard Rock" experience. You will find great amenities and spacious rooms.
Some tips for choosing your room from Tripadvisor reviewers are:
If your stay includes the buffet breakfast, you will be treated to fresh omelettes, pancakes and all of the other western type breakfast options. You will also find some local flavours to try out as well.
The location is good, however you do walk out of the resort, right into the busyness of Kuta. Shopping and other areas are quite close to the Hard Rock Resort.
The Hard Rock Hotel Bali is a great idea for families or couples looking for lots of activities and fun when visiting the island.
