How to Pack a Suit
My number 1 tip on how to pack a suit is to use a garment bag. However, if that isn't possible then here is a great video on packing a suit. Some of the highlights are:
- The Suit Jacket: Turn the men's suit jacket inside out
- You can leave the sleeves in or take them out
- Fold the jacket vertically in half
- Fold the jacket horizontally in half
- Place it in your bag
- Leave the pants on the hanger or keep them folded as they are on the hanger

How to Pack for Travel
I found this great video on how to pack for travel on Youtube from the Times Online in London. 17 year veteran Concierge in the hotel business, Fraser Russell from www.headconcierge.com, verses the host and travel journalist Ginny McGrath, square off to see who can pack the same stuff in the same size suitcase the best. Not only is it fun, Fraser Russell then shares with you his tips and tricks on how to pack a suitcase.
Some of his tips include:
- Put shoes on the bottom of the case with the toes in to protect them, and wrap them in bags if they are dirty
- Stuff socks and small items in your shoes to save on room
- Put belts around the edge of the case
- Use pants or jeans to protect other items in your case
- If you are bringing a towel, put it at the top of the case in case the baggage handlers break your case, this will protect your items from getting dirty or wrecked as the towel should protect it.
