Very True, Max. New Yorkers do not like Times Square by: NYC Insider Guide
Times Square was created by tourists for tourists. It's an OK place to spend an hour or so, but for a NYC native, it is a place to avoid however and whenever possible. Like all cities have, this is our "tourist area."

You can save so much money on a New York City Vacation just by eating and staying in the areas meant for locals, and not just for tourists. Why not try some of the places local New Yorkers eat, live and play?
Sometimes getting "off the grid" can be scary, so I created a free NYC Mini Guide to help you navigate the true best of New York City. Whatever you choose to do, I hope you love your NYC vacation!
