Formally know as the Courtyard, NCL has rebranded their suite area as "The Haven". We enjoy the extra perks of the Haven and are willing to pay the extra money for those perks as long as we can get a good deal.

Here are some photos so you can get an idea of what the courtyard area in the Haven is like. Click on the photo to see a larger version of it and look through our slide show. You will also find more details on it this part of the Haven:

Here are the perks:

• VIP Check In - Great to avoid the lines
• Lunch when you board at Cagney's
• Private Escort to your Suite - Sometime done by the Concierge, your butler, or other crew member
• Larger suites - Always nice to have extra room and Some of the suite have 2 bedrooms!
• Pillow menu and pillow top mattress - bed is lovely and comfortable, and the rocking of the ship makes your sleep the best!
• Private pool area, hot tub, fitness area and sundeck - as you can see from the photos, it is a lovely relaxing area
• Concierge Service - great for restaurant reservations, activities and shore excursions
• Priority Reservations at all restaurants - this is lovely, as you don't have to deal with the other 2000 guests trying to make reservations
• 24 hour Butler service - need I say more? Breakfast in your cabin makes life so much easier!
• Gourmet hors d'ouvres sent to your suite each evening - YUM!
• Order food from any restaurant to your suite - We like to order from different restaurants and enjoy our own choices
• Priority Access to Spa Treatments - this is nice if you want a treatment on a Sea day. Sometimes these reservations are hard to get.
• Priority Seating for the main Theater - seats aren't the best, but you don't have to get there early!
• Priority shore excursion services - no standing in line!
• Priority boarding for tenders - NO STANDING IN LINE!
• Special cocktail parties with officers of the ship - Free champagne and photos with the men in the crisp white uniforms!
• Priority Disembarkation - leave when you want an avoid lines - again, need I say more?
