What is more romantic than a sharing a French pastry while walking along the Seine River in Paris, sitting with a cappuccino on the Spanish Steps in Rome, Dining in a little restaurant in the South of France or wandering along the canals together in Venice or Amsterdam?
Europe is all about romance!
Warren and I spent our honeymoon in Europe. We started with 4 days in Rome (sitting in the Piazza Navona was my favorite time there), then 4 days in Nice, the south of France, and Monte Carlo, and finished with 4 days in London, England. It was an incredible trip and so romantic!
Recently we returned to Rome while on a cruise. It rained the whole day, but we didn't care as we visited all the places we loved on our honeymoon.
We went back to "our" restaurant in the Piazza Navona, sat under the umbrellas and heaters and enjoyed our lunch together watching the world go by and reminiscing. Wandered to the Pantheon and the Spanish Steps. It was one of our most romantic days ever.
We also love and find many romantic things to do in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. We have visited Amsterdam twice, and will return. It is an incredibly romantic city.
We also finally made it to Paris in the summer of 2010. There are hundred's of romantic things to do in Paris, France. Of course there is, it is the city of Romance.

Whether you take a cruise through the Caribbean, or choose an all inclusive resort to relax and just enjoy each other's company in, the Caribbean can be an awesome romantic vacation destination.
There are at least 20 islands to choose from and offer adventure, romance and relaxation.
We love Aruba, St Thomas and St. John, the gulf side of Mexico and I loved Belize (Warren didn't too much).
I recently attended a conference in Anguilla, while I wasn't there for a romantic trip I can definitely see how it can be a great romantic vacation idea. Great restaurants, beautiful quiet and sometime private beaches and beautiful hotels and villas to stay in!
We don't tend to travel to resorts to sit on a beach as we are more interested in cruising or travelling a little further away then the Caribbean.
We have travelled on cruises to: St Thomas, St. Maarten, Bahamas, Curacao, Barbados, Martinique, Dominica, Puerto Rico, Costa Maya Mexico, Roatan Honduras and many others.
If you are looking for a quiet island and diving, I would recommend Bonaire. There isn't much there other than diving and it will force you to relax!
