The San Diego Zoo has thousands of animals to visit and is a great day out while in San Diego or even from Los Angeles. You can purchase a tour that will include your transportation to the Zoo right from your hotel.
Spend the day enjoying the thousands of animals, many of which are on the endangered list. The San Diego Zoo has the largest collection of exotic animals in the world. It is set up to allow the animals to live together in the habitat they are accustomed to. Spend time in Polar Rim, Panda Canyon and the Elephant Odyssey. And don?t forget to stop by the Pandas, after all that is what the San Diego Zoo is famous for. The Pandas however aren?t always available so make sure you check with the Zoo before you go if you are excited to see them.
Choose to tour behind the scenes or have an animal interaction. These programs cost extra but will allow you to get up close and personal like never before. You will be invited to touch, help train and enjoy many different creatures. Check with the San Diego Zoo for these extra special experiences for your day at the Zoo.
